Hello!
Hello and thank you for taking your time to look at my profile. My name is Colleen and I have been a Cambly tutor for over 5 years. I am a Canadian native English speaker, qualified and experienced English teacher and also a nurse in Canada so welcome teaching medical English. I especially enjoy teaching IELTs and CELPIP. I have travelled to many countries and even lived in several of them. My great passion is learning about other countries and cultures so I'm sure we will have some good conversations. I have a BA in English literature from South Africa, 4 Tesols from Global Tesol Canada and a nursing diploma from Canada. I have taught in-person in Canada, Zimbabwe, China and Peru. Additionally this is my fifth year teaching online.
I currently live in SE Asia and travel as much as I can. The more I travel the more I realize how much there is to see and experience. I have been to approximately 26 countries. In the past I was a member of Toastmasters, a group that meets to do public speaking. Additionally, I am in the process of writing my first novel.
