Hello!
Hello! I am back, everyone! :) I have taught English to non-native speakers for over 10 years. Four of those years were spent with Spanish-speaking individuals in a private language school. For the last few years, I have taught students remotely while continuing to live in Mexico. I am from the beautiful, diverse state of California. I love to travel and I have lived in two foreign countries. I know a great deal about improving language skills, as I have also studied a second language (Spanish) for many years. Plus, I am both TESOL and TOEFL certified. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education. I love chatting with people of all ages and backgrounds from around the globe. Let's go on the journey of understanding, growth, and advancement together - learning while having fun!
I am a record collector. I love music! I also love podcasts and have so many favorites. Documentaries and films based on true stories are my favorite films. I like big dogs, particularly my own doggie. He is often at my side when I'm in class. I also really like plants, especially succulents.

Teaching Style
My teaching is friendly, open, and non-judgmental. However, I will make corrections to your vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. I have had great success in helping learners perfect their English speaking skills! I like to be a bit silly and joke around. Let's have a laugh together! Learning a language does not have to feel tedious and difficult. It can be fun and fascinating! It can also make you feel that you are making progress in your personal /professional growth. Knowing another language opens many doors - which feels amazing!
