Ann
Hello!
Hi everyone! I'm a native New Yorker, although I haven't lived there for many years. I studied Romance languages in college and had a wonderful career in hospitality that took me to many different cities around the USA. At one point, I was a Corporate Trainer, instructing new managers and employees and welcoming them into the Company. I was also a substitute teacher for a few years while my children were in grade school.
I am interested in the performing arts and spent several years working in youth theatre. I'm very "crafty" and made props and sewed costumes for the shows. I like to ride my bicycle and go on hiking trails in the woods. I'm adventurous and like to explore new cities and countries. I'm an avid recycler and do a lot of repurposing and thrifting.

My teaching style is very straight-forward. I will be focused on helping you meet your goals. I'm very creative and will incorporate props, music, magazines, games etc. into your lesson to keep it current and attuned to you. Learning a language is also about understanding the culture and I will use a variety of methods to keep you engaged and challenged.
