Maree
Hello!
Hello, I’m Maree. I’m a CELTA qualified English language teacher, I studied English Literature and Philosophy at university and have an M.A. in the History of Art. Before becoming a teacher I had a successful career as a Business Director in Brand Design and so enjoy discussing aspects of all types of sectors from global banking, IT security to consumer goods and production. I have very broad interests which include travel, history, sociology and cooking!
I love meeting new people, and hearing life stories, learning about new cultures and sharing interests. I'm also happy to discuss and help with business related language concerns. Having had a successful career as a Global Business Director I'm comfortable with 'jargon' and business etiquette which can be quite a challenge for the non-native speaker.
