Hello! My name's Lucy, I'm a kind, patient and open-minded English teacher with five years' Cambly experience. I teach adults only (18+). Maybe I'll speak to you soon!
I'm originally from a small village in Cambridgeshire but now I live in the city of Leeds. I've been lucky enough to travel widely, and I've lived, worked, and/or studied in several different places. I enjoy reading, writing, learning about countries and cultures, and listening to people talk about their own interests.

I'm friendly, flexible, laid-back, LGBTQ+ friendly, and a good listener. I always try to base lessons on the student's individual needs. For me, the perfect lesson is one where we learn and have fun too, and where the student feels more confident about their English skills afterwards. I'm better at teaching adults (18+) than other age groups, so it would be best to try another tutor for a student who isn't an adult yet :).
