Hello!
I was a teacher in a school for over 35 years and have always had a great desire to help all abilities. During that time I have come to realise that patience is key to helping students achieve. When I first started out I only wanted to teach my chosen subject (Music) but after some years gaining experience in teaching children I soon realised that helping students to learn was the most important aspect. Having built up a wealth of experience I am now very well equipped to adapt my teaching to the individual needs of each student. Teaching and learning is very much a two way process and I like to be flexible in my approach. Now that I have been tutoring on Cambly for a number of years I appreciate the difficulties of learning to speak English. However a patient, encouraging tutor will ensure that the journey is a rewarding task. These are qualities that I have developed over many years. More recently I have taught on a 1-2-1 basis over the internet and have come to a great understanding of how beneficial this is to all my students.

Relaxed, friendly and patient. I am adaptable to suit the requirements of my students - conversation, Cambly lessons, other material etc. Flexibility and co-operation between myself and students is key. Being encouraging is also an essential element in my lessons.
