Hello!
Hello, I'm Alex thanks for dropping by! So, what can I do for you? I can help you improve your listening and speaking skills by creating an authentic learning environment that will give you the ability to become a better speaker of English. So, let's learn together!
Well, I like many different things. If we're talking about sports then I like basketball and baseball. I also like watching movies and trying new foods if I think it might be delicious! Every now and then I enjoy hiking, but not too often. What I like most of all is traveling to other countries, meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I'm also, into technology. I like building apps and websites however, I'm an ESL instructor by profession.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is to focus on the way you practice in class. The way you practice is very important because this will determine the way you will perform in real life conversation with others. For example; if you are allowed to use the incorrect grammar or the incorrect style in class then that is exactly how you will speak to others in real life and this will most probably lead to miscommunication. So, I like to focus on the way you should practice in the actual class. I also like to focus on methods that help you improve not only your vocabulary knowledge but also ways to be able to actually use the vocabulary and phrases that you learn and to implement multiple strategies to help you retain information. My philosophy is that students must always try to imitate their tutors and use the same words and phrases that their tutors use in order to move a step closer to native like proficiency. I mean think about it, isn't your objective to sound more like a native speaker? If yes, then what better way to do that than to imitate your tutors? This is one reason why children actually learn faster than adults. So, what do children do? Well, kids are very good at copying or imitating what they see and hear, which allows them to learn faster. Adults do the exact opposite. They just keep asking "Why?" instead of copying and then applying the information.
