I have previously worked as a Human Resources and Training Manager for a period of 10 years. I also have 6 years experience as a classroom teacher. With my background I have many students who wish to learn business English or practice their interview skills. However many students also just want to practice their conversation skills. Currently the majority of my regular students are from Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil and Turkey. I have listed several of my interests however I would like to highlight travel as it has always been important to me. I have visited many countries and worked in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, The Maldives, The Caribbean and Bhutan. I very much enjoy getting to know people from around the world and look forward to meeting you.

My main objective is to build confidence and ability in my students. Learning English is 50% ability and 50% confidence. I want them to speak English with a smile! I try to keep the lessons relaxed and friendly, whilst maintaining a professional relationship between myself and the student. I do everything I can to make sure the student feels comfortable talking to me and feels free to discuss any topics and ask any questions. I want my students to question me, challenge my ideas and bring their own thinking to the lessons.
