I've been an English teacher for 24 years. Favorite conversation topics: current world events, politics, economics, future tech, environment
Good conversation is one of the pleasures I enjoy most, on a variety of topics such as politics, philosophy, social and economic issues. I like cycling around the Czech Republic, doing yoga, cooking and finding new music for the post-covid dance party we all know is coming. I only teach students 18 or over, I will take some 15 to 18 if they are good at English and want to make progress.

I like it when the student doesn't really feel like they are having a lesson. When you just talk and relax, the conversation creates the context for learning about the grammar you most need to work on. We can correct those mistakes and carry on talking about whatever the topic may be.
