I’m a language lover and lifelong learner who’s lived in several countries—in addition to the US, I've lived in Russia, Germany, and Spain. I know the ups and downs of learning a new language: the excitement, the confusion, and days when it is too much I focus not only on teaching, but on how it feels to learn—especially speaking. I’m fluent in English (native speaker), and conversational in Spanish and Russian. So, I understand how scary it can be to open your mouth and try. But with the right partner, that fear can turn into fluency. Oh, and I love grammar—but I promise to use it to empower you, not intimidate you.

My lessons are based on conversation. I do not follow a strict plan. Instead, I listen to what you need and choose topics that match your level and goals. You will speak a lot in my lessons—more than 50% of the time. I will help you say things better, teach you new words, and explain grammar in a clear way. Of course your time on Cambly is limited, so if you want to improve faster, I can guide you on how to practice listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation outside of class. I’ll help you choose the tools and routines to match your time, level, and motivation.
