Hello and happy fall!🍂 My name is Kristi. I'd love to chat with you! I am a native English speaker from California, USA. I now live in Oregon, USA. 🇺🇸

👋 Hello! I’m Kristi. I'd be happy to practice English with you, no matter your level—from beginner to advanced. All levels are welcome! I’m a native English speaker, and I’m fluent in American Sign Language. I have what many people call a “neutral” American accent. I’m friendly and patient, and I have a casual, conversation-based teaching style. I’m cheerful and enthusiastic, but also calm and easygoing. I have fun interacting with people, and I want you to feel comfortable and have fun too! Being nervous is 100% okay—I’ve been on Cambly since 2023, and I still get nervous sometimes. It’s worth it! | 📍MY BACKGROUND: I was born and raised in northern California, USA, where I lived most of my life. My hometown was beautiful, but the summers were very hot! Now I live in Oregon, about an hour from Portland. I miss having a swimming pool, but I love the weather here. (I’ve also briefly lived in Florida, Washington DC, Utah, Washington, Indiana, and Ohio.) I have a master’s degree in bilingual education for Deaf students, and I love to teach. | 🎢 MY INTERESTS: I grew up going to Disneyland and later worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It was an unforgettable experience, and I miss visiting the parks every day and meeting new people! Recently, I visited Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, which was a blast. I love Disney parks and talking about all things Disney °o° I’ve visited all the Disney parks in the U.S. and Japan, and I’m dreaming of my next trip. I’ll likely go back to a Japanese park next.
