私は元イギリスの外交官で、10カ国に住んだ経験があり（さらに多くの国を訪れています）、旅行が大好きです。異文化、国際関係、時事問題についての好奇心は尽きることがありません。また、野生動物が好きで、南アフリカのクルーガー国立公園のそばに住んでいることを幸運に思っています。 私が観戦するのが好きなスポーツは、セブンズラグビーとT20クリケットです。個人的には、泳ぐことや犬の散歩を楽しんでおり、釣りの腕を上げることにも挑戦しています！映画、読書、レゲエ音楽が大好きです。

I am a former British diplomat and have lived in 10 countries (and visited many more) so I love to travel. I am endlessly curious about diverse cultures, international relations and current affairs. I also love wildlife and am fortunate to live beside the Kruger National Park in South Africa. My favourite sports to watch are 7s rugby and T20 cricket. Personally, I enjoy swimming and walking my dogs - and am trying to improve my fishing! I love movies, reading and reggae music.

My teaching style is kind, patient and friendly. I like to find out what your goals are in our first class, so that I can help you to achieve them. I often work with articles as I find this helps to improve vocabulary and pronunciation. We can then discuss the topic of the article, and let the conversation flow from there. I provide frequent corrections and love to suggest expressions and idioms that could enrich your conversations. In addition, I have a strong background in the diplomatic and business fields and love to assist students with their business English. We can work on correcting and refining your business emails or reports together, or I can guide you through Cambly’s various business English lessons. I also assist in class with CVs, cover letters, and preparation for interviews and various speaking tests. My teaching style works best with intermediate and advanced students, and please note that I currently only work with adults. Thank you - I hope to meet you soon!
