Hello! Nice to see you here! I have taught English in Japan for over 40 years. However, I am not qualified to teach children, Elementary, and High School Students. I began to teach in Matsushita Panasonic, then on to other companies. Hitachi, Dai Nihon Ink, Yokogawa, and finally an Airline School. I speak fluent English, Filipino (Tagalog) and Japanese. I have lived in Japan for over 40 years. I was born and partly raised in Pasadena California USA, a city in the county of Los Angeles. I began my elementary education in Munich and Heidelberg Germany. I then returned to the USA. I studied high school and University in Manila Philippines where my ancestors are from. With over 40 years of teaching English as a Second Language to many people from all over the world, I know what it is like to learn a new language. I am patient, very friendly, humorous and fun. I am interested in learning new languages just like you! Right now I am trying to learn Mandarin. My other interests are in Human Behavior & Psychology. Since I taught at an Airline school in Tokyo and Chiba for over 15 years, naturally, the further study of Aviation Safety and Emergency, Passenger Service and Case studies in Aviation Incidents and Accidents hold a very special place in my heart. Which also explains my interest in Psychology and Human Behavior. All of my interests are geared toward helping others, however possible. Living in Japan for over 40 years has helped me become very familiar with the Japanese culture and mindset. I have taught English to Japanese people (high school & university and adults) for over 40 years. I have always loved Japan, and everything about my "second home". I am proud of being a part of Japan and its people too. I really look forward to seeing you soon : ) I also teach students from all over the world now too : ) If you are shy and nervous about having class, my students are happy and relieved to see that in my class, it is relaxing and cheerful, and you will feel the same, because every student is unique and wonderful, and I am genuinely interested in people.
