Hello. My name is Sherene and I have been teaching English for over 6 years. I have experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. I specialize in working with young learners, interview practice and professional English. I also like discussing news events, movies, parenting, pets, gardening and food. Before I became an English Teacher I was the Education Officer at a country park in the UK. I regularly taught primary school aged children who visited the park with their school. I studied Ecology and Sustainability and like discussing nature, biodiversity and food growing. My hobbies include walking, yoga, gardening, cats, food growing, healthy eating, crafting and crochet. I am originally from New York, I grew up on Long Island in a suburb of NYC. I moved to the UK to study and stayed there for 15 years. I then moved to Spain to raise my son who is now a teenager. I have also travelled a bit around South America, Europe and Asia. I like learning about different cultures and meeting new people. I have worked in the countryside management field in the UK, specializing in promoting nature and environmentalism.
