Hello! My name is Mike, and I’m from South Africa. I started teaching English after I retired from my professional career. My first teaching experience was with Interlingua in Mexico City, where I taught English for about six months. After that, I completed my English teaching diploma with i-to-i TEFL in the UK. Once I had qualified, I moved to Buenos Aires in Argentina, where I taught both General and Business English at several language institutes. I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping students improve their confidence in speaking English. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and focused on conversation and real communication. Don’t worry about making mistakes — that’s a natural part of learning. I specialise in working with adult learners and enjoy helping professionals improve their English for work and everyday communication.
