Teaching Style

My teaching style is a specific goal oriented teaching purpose in a fun and casual environment, where you will be comfortable if you make any mistakes. We always learn so much from our mistakes when we are learning another language. I love to show students shortcuts in gaining English language proficiency, such as etymology. For example, without any grammar you can learn half of the meaning of over 1,700 words in English in less than 30 seconds simply by knowing what the ending "logy" in words means. It does of course mean . . . "the study of". There are many such examples. It's easier than learning 1,700 words individually. In addition, the art of using the strong weapon of "CONTEXT" has been widely overlooked in schools (except in schools where I was either an English Master or Principal). It is yet another example of an easy way a student can teach themselves the main meaning of words WITHOUT a dictionary! Let me show you how!
