Hello!
Hello - Always up for a chat, although what I specifically offer on Cambly is the chance to practice for the international English tests, build your general core flexibility and confidence, and focus on the skills you want to display. I've been a TEFL tutor since 2017 and come from an accounting background in Hospitality (hotels and catering, mainly)
I'm a writer and English tutor, originally from South Africa of English parents. I moved to the UK for 17 years, then returned to the sun by moving to Spain a few years ago. My Spanish is still a work in progress so I am very empathetic about the challenges in learning a new language. I spent most of my working life in the hospitality business, both customer-facing and administration / accounting.

Teaching Style
Perfect structured English is rare even amongst native English speakers, confidence in what you want to say will get you a lot further, even in exams. My aim is to get you relaxed, interactive, communicating with confidence, and THEN we work towards perfection. While I am most familiar with IELTS I do also coach for TOEFL, TOEIC, and also use the challenging EIKEN test questions and format for advanced pupils. There's always more chat than you'll need in test conditions - because that's where confidence grows.
