Teaching Style
My preferred teaching style is the facilitator style or activity-based style. It encourages self-learning through increased peer-to-teacher learning. Unlike the lecture style, teachers ask students questions, rather than simply have the answer given to them. Activities are used to promote self-discovery and develop problem-solving skills, which can often lead to the student developing a much deeper understanding of the topic. If and when needed I can change my teaching style to the delegator style, but it is normally used when teaching groups.
