I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with a master's degree in education and substantial experience as an examiner for international English language exams. I have more than 20 years of teaching experience (from beginner to proficiency level). My expertise includes exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge, TOEIC, and Aptis ESOL), business English, legal English, academic English, and conversation English.
I am passionate about communicating with people. I love travelling, reading, listening to music, watching films, studying new languages, walking and exploring places, and learning about other cultures and traditions. I am interested in everything from art and history to science and the environment.

I know what it is like to communicate with native speakers of other languages and understand the challenges of learning new languages, both face-to-face and online. For this reason, I focus on building my students’ confidence by encouraging my students to speak as much as possible. My objective is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment for my students. I am a very supportive tutor who really enjoys working with students. I create, develop, structure, and adapt lessons, courses, and teaching materials based on my students’ needs, wants, and aims.
