Hello!

Hi, I'm Wayne. For 12 years I've taught English across Asia, in middle schools, universities, and corporate training rooms. I've seen what actually moves people toward fluency, and what just fills a textbook. Let me be honest about how I teach. I'm structured, and a little stubborn about it. I care more about your real progress than about keeping every lesson light and chatty. If you want a teacher who will gently but consistently push you toward your goal, we'll get along well. Outside the classroom I build software and follow AI and tech closely, so if you want conversations with more substance than the weather, that's where I'm at my best.

Twelve years of classroom experience across Asia, covering middle school, university, and corporate training. That range means I've taught complete beginners, exam candidates, and professionals who needed English for their actual job, and I adjust the method to the student rather than the other way round. My lessons are structured. We set a clear goal, we work toward it in a defined order, and I tell you honestly where you are. I correct errors as they happen rather than letting them settle, and I build each lesson on what you got wrong in the last one. Speaking gets the most time, because that is where progress is slowest and most valuable. I work with general conversation, business English, interview preparation, exam preparation, and English for tech and software careers. Book a first lesson and we will spend it working out exactly where your English is and what is holding it back. You will leave that lesson with a clear plan and a specific thing to work on, not a vague sense that it went fine. If you have tried lessons before and drifted, this is usually why: no structure, no honest feedback, no pressure. I bring all three, and I bring them kindly.
