I lived in Alaska for 26 years and now my husband and I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada, near the ocean and the mountains! I go for picnics beside the ocean or hikes on the mountain, which is a 3 minute walk from my house. I love to be outdoors so that I can enjoy bicycle riding, swimming or sailing. I am also interested in psychology, history, geography and other cultures. I love talking to people and I love teaching. In fact, I love teaching on Cambly and talking to students from all over the world. For me, tutoring on Cambly is fun and interesting. It is the best hobby for me!

I am patient and kind because I know how difficult it is to learn a foreign language. An important part of my teaching style is that I love what I do. I am interested in what other people have to say and I listen carefully to my students. While you are speaking, I am typing the corrections that can be practiced later. Then, after you have finished speaking, we can practice the corrections. I individualize each lesson to the student's needs. We laugh and have fun while learning English.
