This course was designed based on research that identifies the most important features of academic English in order to help you speak with confidence in a variety of academic settings.

In this course, each lesson is focused on an academic language function, such as explaining cause and effect, describing ideas, or talking about data, charts and numbers. You'll learn critical academic vocabulary that accompanies each function. You'll also practice advanced grammar points that are common in academic language.
