Profession: ESSCA School of Management: Business English teacher (FRANCE)
Advertising, Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing
Since 2017 I've been teaching Business English in France's 'Grande École' program, during which students do study-abroad terms and internships at partner schools and companies all around the world. This includes TOEFL & TOEIC preparation as well.

Université de Poitiers: English Teacher (FRANCE)
Performing Arts, Education, English Language Instruction, Visual Arts
Since 2017 I've been teaching students English in the context of the university's Performing Arts program. Students' exposure to the language, prior to coming to my classes, varies greatly & many lack a great deal of confidence. They LOVE my class.

Non-Profit Organization Work: both in Canada & France
Non-profit, Teaching
I worked extensively in the non-profit sector in Canada and have done so here in France as well; in a church setting: this included managing volunteers, coordinating events and elements of fundraising.

Interests: When I'm not teaching, you may find me tending to my honeybees (yes, I'm a hobby beekeeper), a chicken or two plus homing pigeons, gardening, tatting (an old fashioned form of lacemaking) or crocheting. When time permits, I'm always up for discovering one of France's many castles!

Education: Université de Moncton (Canada)
Education
Master's Degree in the Science of Language. My thesis dealt with lexical borrowing between languages that exist in close proximity of daily use, specifically, how Acadian French borrowed from and integrated English verb structures.

University of New Brunswick
Education, Writing and Journalism
My original Bachelor of Arts was a double major of French Language and English literature.

Spoken Languages: Tiếng Anh (Native), Tiếng Pháp (Fluent)
