I was a mentor to a team of 12 teachers in a preschool, serving children 12 months to 5 years. I helped teach teachers current curriculum standards and manage behavioral issues with the students.

Resident Volunteer
Environment
I spend part of the year serving as a Resident Volunteer with Florida State Parks. I work with the rangers on things like trail maintenance and lake clean up, so that our visitors may enjoy the natural beauty of Florida.

Behavioral Health Specialist

I've worked for more than a decade supporting children and adults with behavioral health and substance abuse issues. I've worked in group homes, in the foster care system and in lock down facilities.

Interesses: I have decades of experience working in both fields of education and behavioral health. I have a deep understanding of people and a great deal of empathy for others. I am a good teacher and mentor, because of my compassion, understanding and respect.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and learning about mycology (mushrooms), foraging, earthing/grounding and ukulele.

For exercise, I love hiking, yoga, backpacking, Zumba, cardio kick boxing and strength training.
