I spent 2 years in retail, but most of my career was as a childcare provider, where I also taught reading and language to children. I was also a homeschooling teacher for 10 years. I have taught English online to children and adults for over 3 years.

Intérêts: I enjoy traveling; I have traveled in the UK, Ireland, France, Canada and Singapore. I studied at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland many years ago when I was in college, and I even spent a month living in a French Chateau when I was in high school! I love reading, playing the piano, hiking in the mountains, birdwatching, and studying other languages such as German, Portuguese and Scottish Gaelic. Here are some of my other interests: history, baking, knitting, quilting and classical music.
