Profession: U.S. History Teacher
I taught 7th grade U.S. History from Colonization to the Civil War. In this role, I created lesson plans, graded assignments, taught material from my lesson plans based on state guidelines, and used different learning styles to ensure understanding.
Before becoming a teacher, I was a teaching assistant. I tutored students with special needs and gave them additional instruction to understand the lesson. I also worked in small groups with students and helped during testing by reading aloud.
