Interesses: My teaching career started not long after joining the New Zealand Army Reserves in 2009. In my 4 years in the Army, I became a Lance Corporal and taught lessons to soldiers in my Company on up-and-coming exercises to familiarize them with what we were doing in the coming weeks.
In 2013 I moved to Siem Reap, Cambodia. I completed a 120hr in-classroom TEFL course and started teaching. In the past 9 years, I’ve taught from levels K2 to Grade 6 in the classroom privately taught adult employees of a travel agency, taught evening conversation classes, and 2 years teaching Chinese students English online.
I’ve taught students ranging in age from 4 years old up to adults in their 40s.
Teaching is only a part of what I do, I work in pest control, landscaping, handyman work, painting, and building and currently learning how to grow hydroponic vegetables under lights.
I am married with twin daughters who were born in 2016 and an adult son. I am highly motivated and I love life and will try anything. I always give 100% and as long as you do the same, win or lose I’ll be proud of you.
