I have been teaching and tutoring since 2017.

Experiência de ensino: I have been teaching English as a second language for over three years. Before that I was a tutor locally, mainly helping out with English Literature. Over the years I have taught all ages and levels. I feel comfortable and confident with a variety of students and over a variety of subjects. Over the last year I have gained a lot of experience with preparing students for the IELTS exam.

Interesses: Hello everyone! My name is Chay, and I’m a qualified tutor with a passion for teaching. I was born in Europe, however my parents moved my family to the States when I was just a baby. Growing up in a multicultural household was an incredible experience, which left me with a love for travel and desire to learn more about the many cultures around the world. Some of my other hobbies include: writing poetry and prose, dancing, sewing historical costumes, watercolour, baking, reading, learning about Japanese and Korean culture, camping, handicrafts, creating music with my talharpa, learning Gaelic and studying mythology and history. I'm passionate about teaching and whether you need help with reading, writing, vocabulary, or just plain conversation, I would love to help you.
