Orange Lobster Named Crush Moves to Denver Aquarium

July 18th, 2024

Once, a very special orange lobster was found at a Red Lobster restaurant in Colorado. It was different from other lobsters because of its unique color. The restaurant workers saw it and decided to call it Crush. They chose this name because it reminded them of a famous football team's defense called the Orange Crush. The people at the restaurant couldn't keep Crush, so they sent him to an aquarium in Denver. The lobster got a nice tank with football helmets to play with. The people at the aquarium are taking good care of Crush. They will watch him for a short time to make sure he is healthy before he joins other sea animals in a big tank. Everyone is excited about Crush. They think he is very rare and special. The Denver aquarium has lots of different animals, like fish, stingrays, and even tigers, but having an orange lobster is not common. Crush came from far away, from the ocean near Canada, and now people in Colorado can visit and see him. This makes the aquarium a fun place to learn about sea creatures. They are happy to show Crush to everyone who comes to visit.

Irrawaddy dolphin
The Irrawaddy dolphin is a special kind of dolphin that lives in the sea near coasts and in rivers in Asia. Its skin is blue-gray, and it doesn't have a long nose like other dolphins. This dolphin can live in both saltwater and fresh water. The best places to see many of them together are Chilika Lake in India and Songkhla Lake in Thailand. This dolphin got its name a long time ago when Sir Richard Owen talked about it in 1866. People agree that it belongs to the dolphin family. Irrawaddy dolphins are not very big. They can be as heavy as two big dogs and as long as a big table when they are fully grown. They look quite similar to other dolphins that have no back fins and those with bigger back fins and longer noses. In their faces, they have a big round forehead and no long nose. This makes them look a bit like another dolphin called the beluga. However, they are actually more related to the killer whale. They have a friendly face because the front of their head is round and wide.
