Hi, I'm Keri, I am a tutor from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. I have over 20 years experience of teaching children from the ages of 3-11 in English, maths, science, geography and history. Now I tutor from home and have a TEFL level 5 Certificate from The TEFL Academy. I teach children, teenagers and adults - whatever you would like to learn - English vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, reading and comprehension, conversation practice and much more. Maybe you want to improve your English for a trip or an interview - I am here to help. I want you to enjoy your learning and will prepare fun lessons to ensure you do that. I am married with two teenage daughters, one dog and a hamster. I love nature and am a keen wildlife gardener. My garden is filled with plants that attract bees, butterflies, bats and birds. We sometimes get frogs in our pond and occasionally a nightly visitor of a hedgehog. I have travelled to Australia, New Zealand, USA, France, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Germany and Greece. More recently we have been having our holidays in the UK - I absolutely love visiting the coastline of England, Wales and Scotland, there is nothing better than the sound of the waves washing up over a pebbled beach.
