Hello!

Hi, my name is Kristin. I am so excited to have conversations with some new international friends. I know some basic Spanish, and my most recent international trip was to Portugal for an equestrian holiday.

I graduated from an antebellum women's college in Roanoke, Virginia called Hollins University; I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art History. I enjoy reading and writing. I was a book critic for a publication called The Hollins Critic, and I am also a published poet through the same literary journal. While in college, I worked for the Writing Center, and many of the students I tutored were ESL students. I am a huge animal lover, especially horses, dogs, cats, birds, butterflies, and reptiles. I love flowers and plants, and spending as much time as I can in nature. I am also interested in a raw vegan diet. Good health is very important to me, and I make sure to get regular exercise and I encourage my friends to do this as well. Another interest of mine is skin care, especially Korean skin care; it is the best in the world! I have three children: a teenage daughter and two redheaded sons. My daughter just learned to drive a car, and my sons enjoy soccer (or futbol). It excites me to think about having friends from other lands, and I am looking forward to connecting to new people. I can help you strengthen your English speaking and comprehension, but I am also eager to listen and learn from you as well!
