Hello. Thanks for stopping by! I'm Glen; a tutor from the Irish countryside. I've been a teacher of different subjects for several years now including English. My classes are all about helping you realize your potential and gain confidence using English in everyday situations.
Asides from teaching, I also love to play music and outdoors activities, including hiking, cycling, swimming and camping. I have been to several countries in western and central Europe, with hopes to visit more in future. I have also lived and worked with people from many different backgrounds, spanning across Europe to South America and Asia. To relax, I like to listen to music and podcasts, draw, and read. I love learning about complex topics such as history, psychology and science. I'm also a big martial arts and anime nerd, having grown up on TV shows, movies and video games from the Oriental part of the world. Of course, I'm always eager to learn and talk about any country, their respective cultures, the people, and their personal interests. Maybe you can tell me about yours! My lessons focus on pronunciation, listening, speaking, grammar, and general English conversation. I'm flexible and can tailor lessons to suit your individual needs; doing so with encouragement, patience and occasional humor. Though I will try my best to help all students, I work better with those around intermediate level (B1) and above. If you're a beginner and would like to book a lesson, please let me know what you would like to focus on in advance or provide some materials if possible. This is to ensure that you get the most benefit from our time working together. :)
