Hello!

Hi! I am so excited you are here and to help you along your journey into learning English; or speaking English more naturally. I want to welcome you and offer a safe and easy space to work in. A little about me, I've been a teaching in one way or another for over 15 years. During lockdown I learned how to run online classes efficiently and effectively. Welcome, friends! Let's get started!!

I've been trained in Preventing Academic Failure (PAF) which is a phonics based program that has a proven track record of helping students learn English. I am trained in behavioral therapy and executive functioning skills. I love teaching and helping people learn new things is my passion.

Specialties

Teaching Style

I find English to be a difficult language to pick up, there are a lot of nuances to it and that makes it tricky. That informs my teaching style. I choose to be student led, allowing my students to take chances but know that we will fix any mistakes or missteps they may have. I believe in visual learning and phonics, and have some training in both.
