Hello!
Thank you for dropping by! I am very excited to get to teach and learn with you and help you become an excellent English communicator. I like asking questions and am extremely curious. I have many interests and passions. I used to tap dance and play the bass guitar in a band. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies as well as reading and gardening. I have a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Bilingual Education, I have a TESOL advanced certificate as well as a Cambridge certified C2 level of English. Looking forward to learning together! I'll see you soon!
I am a current University professor in Ecuador for the Pedagogy of Foreign and National Languages degree program but I am very interested in proficiency exams so I also prepare students to take them at the A1 to C1 levels. I am married and have 2 pet dogs that we love very much. I was born in New York, but I have lived in Ecuador for the past 11 years. The best thing about living here is the weather because there are no seasons, which I like. In my free time I like traveling with my wife or going shopping or dinning out.

Teaching Style
I like using TPR (total physical response) as well as gestures and other forms of non-verbal communication to convey ideas. I focus primarily on a communicative language approach so my classes are all about interacting and making ourselves understood. I am very patient and like trying different methods of presenting and asking for information, every learner is different and so are my strategies.
