I was born in the United States. I have lived all over the US, from the west coast to the Midwest to the east coast. I have taught through Cambly's platform for 2 years; I'm TESOL certified; and have worked at numerous colleges and universities assisting in the running of these institutions and helping students and administration learn with their individual needs in mind. I have led organizations and run businesses, including nonprofits. I have traveled to Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, and Europe. I am a calm, attentive, and deliberate instructor. I believe listening and making sure communication is happening both ways is important. Determining a clients needs and being able to adjust for the student/client along the way is critical to successful individualized learning. It's important to set an atmosphere where inquiry is welcome. Being open to curiosity also helps the learner. Whether the learner is in secondary school, University, and/or working, the ability to speak another language in said environments is beneficial. So learning needed verbiage for an individual's settings will also bea focus.
