Hello I look forward to meeting you. First I would like to tell you about my background. I have a BA degree in history/education. I have taught English and history in high school. I have also tutored individual students and taught adults to read as a literacy coach. Finally I have taught adults with special needs, in diverse subjects like reading, zoology and money skills. I enjoy teaching and I can't wait to help you learn English,
I was born in New Jersey, U.S.A. and currently reside in Cuenca, Ecuador.. My hobbies are reading, travel. theater and dining out. I also love to write and have published short stories and poems. I have had plays performed and produced in Los Angeles California and New York City, New York. I love words and communication both spoken and written.

I like to to make my classes as enjoyable and as fun as possible. When mistakes are made I believe in making corrections without dwelling on them. I feel we should keep it as positive as possible. I just want the student to know that we are in this together and I want them to succeed as much as they wish to succeed.
