Hello!
Hello! My name is Monica, and I'm happy to meet you. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and after obtaining my TEFL certification and teaching ESL abroad, I'm excited to continue this journey.
I currently live in the United States. I really enjoy dancing, scrapbooking, and learning languages for fun. I've studied abroad in Taiwan twice to learn Mandarin Chinese, and have spent a year abroad teaching in South Korea. As such, I speak both Mandarin and Korean. I'm very much interested in relating language to culture. I love learning about different cultures and am looking forward to speaking with you soon!

I fully believe that language acquisition should be fun and tailored to each student's learning style and interests. Every student learns differently, and I want to make learning enjoyable for the student. My classes are fun and engaging, using free flow conversation and short readings to increase my students' fluency and comprehension skills.
