Hi! I am really excited to get to work with you to speak and learn English. I am a teacher from the United States where I taught for over 15 years. I have taught English for over 20 years...I have lots of games, fun activities and just enjoy meeting and speaking with new people. My experience is teaching English at the primary, secondary and university level to prepare students to pass the IELT, Cambridge, TOEFL among other proficiency exams. I have taught, also, while living in Spain and Mexico with a specialty in Business English and advanced conversation practice. We tutors always strive for a 5 rating. Please give any feedback or suggestions about what you would like to talk/learn about or how to make the class perfect for your needs. I have successfully taught students from all corners of the globe: Japan, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Chile just to name a few of the home countries my wonderful students have been from. With all of my years of experience and fun approach to learning, it will just be a nice but effective time when we work together. I´m happy to also help you with very specific learning goals and can provide materials to advance grammar and vocabulary and work toward very advanced language goals. I was born and raised in California. I love the outdoors and nature. I also love different places and cultures, so traveling is always one of my favorite things to do. Over the last five years, I have been traveling and discovering the beautiful towns and pueblitos in Mexico. Currently I live in Mexico and am teaching English at the University here. I LOVE my job! Teaching is my passion, and I first taught English in Santander, Spain. I am working on being truly fluent in Spanish and then want to learn other languages. I think it is incredibly important and special to speak two or more languages. I have taught children and adults in gradeschool and in English learning for over twenty years. I am very professional, but also very interested in knowing you personally..

It would be important to know what you want to learn or if it is a goal to speak English better for personal enjoyment. I'm interested in your goals. Once I know this, I can work to find materials and activities that will strengthen and highlight those goals. I really believe learning should be fun and enjoyable, so I usually look to have a pleasant time. Also, I really love to learn about people! I will be very interested in your specific topics of interest and also your daily experiences. We tutors always strive for a 5 rating with each class. So please let me (us) know what your specific wants and requests are for each class, or if you have desires to do specific activities. The classes are really what you wish to study and practice. Giving me feedback on what would be a better class experience would help me improve each class for your specific needs. Getting to know you will be a real pleasure, and I look forward to meeting you.
