Miguel
Hello!
I have over 11 years of teaching experience in public schools across New York and Florida. I've taught students from Pre-K all the way through high school, including general education classes and specialized classes for children with autism. I'm a very patient and encouraging tutor who loves helping students not only improve their English but also build real confidence in themselves. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or just wanting to speak more fluently, I'll support you every step of the way in a fun, stress-free environment. Looking forward to chatting with you soon!
"When I’m not behind a screen, you can find me outdoors skateboarding, bike riding, or swimming. I have a deep passion for history, photography, and the arts, and I’m always looking for new cooking recipes or music to enjoy. I love staying active and creative, and I bring that same energy into my English lessons! I am also a curious person who is fascinated by the future of technology. I am currently deep-diving into the IT world, studying for my CCNA and Cybersecurity certifications. If you are interested in Technical English, the networking industry, or just want to discuss global history and culture, I am here to help you gain confidence and fluency in your English!"

Teaching Style
My favorite part of teaching is motivating students and building their confidence—especially beginners who are just starting out, or intermediate/advanced learners who doubt their skills despite already speaking English well. I create a supportive, encouraging environment where mistakes are opportunities to learn, and every lesson is tailored to your goals. I specialize in helping students prepare for the IELTS and TOEFL exams, focusing on speaking, writing, and strategies to boost their scores. I also love assisting with resume/CV reviews and practicing mock job interviews using Cambly's built-in lessons. Whether you're aiming for a high exam score, a dream job, or just more fluency and confidence, I'm here to help you succeed. Let's chat soon!
