Hello!
Hi! I’m a fun, friendly ESL conversationalist who loves connecting with learners from all over the world. I keep our conversations light, relaxed, and full of laughs. So get ready to smile, chat, and enjoy learning English the easygoing way!
Hi! I'm TeacHer Valerie. I’m a witty, easygoing ESL conversationalist who loves helping learners from all over the world feel confident speaking English. I keep my sessions relaxed, light, and sprinkled with humor when it fits, because I believe learning should be enjoyable, not stressful. Think of me as your friendly neighbor (the one always with a cup of coffee in her hand), ready for a warm and easygoing chat. I’m here to help you speak more naturally, feel more fluent, and enjoy real conversation without pressure or rigid lessons. I work best with adult learners (18+) who want to improve their English in a comfortable, casual space. Let’s talk about your life, your work, and whatever’s on your mind, one conversation at a time. About me: I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York (you might hear the accent!), and I now live in sunny Orlando, Florida. When I'm not teaching, I work as a professional actress. I’ve been performing since 1990 and am a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. My background in acting and improv brings energy and spontaneity to every conversation we have. Whether you want to practice speaking naturally, laugh a little, or just build your confidence, I’m here to help. Let’s have a great conversation!

What to Expect: I love to laugh and keep things relaxed! Our chats will feel like talking to a friendly neighbor over coffee with casual, engaging, and pressure-free conversation. We can talk about fun, random, interesting topics or use Engoo articles to spark conversation. I’ll listen closely to your speaking, offer gentle corrections when needed, and help you build confidence through natural, easygoing dialogue. What I Don’t Offer: NO STUDENTS UNDER 18, PLEASE! I don’t teach younger students and children. (I'm not part of Cambly Kids). I also don’t use structured lessons or formal lesson plans. Lastly, I prefer not to discuss topics like business, politics, government, or religion. Let’s keep things light, kind, and focused on everyday English.
