**I DON'T TEACH CHILDREN UNDER 16 ON CAMBLY** Hello! My name is Erica and I have been teaching English since 2016 both online and in person. My student's say that I am patient, easy to talk to, and have a skill for helping them to find the right words to express their own ideas. In addition to tutoring online, I teach English in my local community for a non-profit company that provides services to immigrants. For this reason, you might not see many open spots in my schedule. Professionally, I am a private English tutor. I started my own company in 2021 to teach English online. I love nature and enjoy spending time in nature in particular, exploring local trails on horseback. I also enjoy living in different cultures. My life and work have given me the opportunity to live in different countries including Japan, South Korea, Iraq, and Mexico.

Whatever you are learning, it must have a connection to your life in some way. I believe that it's important to teach good pronunciation and grammar, but these things must be taught in a simple, easy-to-understand way that you can use immediately at school, work, or with your English-speaking friends and colleagues. Learning a new language will take hard work and time, but the process should be something you enjoy. My goal is for you to look forward to your classes with me.
