Hi Students! My name is Andrea and I am from South Africa. I live in Seoul at the moment. I have a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations Management and a TESOL qualification. I have been teaching ESL for 15 years and am able to teach any age. I am passionate about people, culture and English, so as much as I can teach you English, I would like to know more about you. Teaching Style
As an educator, I apply different methodologies and strategies to my classes based on the students' pace, level and desired learning outcomes. My goal is for students to use the material they have learnt in everyday scenarios, which is why I favour the task-based teaching approach. As for the contextual approach, I want students to be able to use what they have learnt, in context, as it is an effective way of retaining and applying information. They will find themselves in situations where they will be able to use English and I want to build them up to be confident to do so.
