Hello!
Hello! My name is Jim, I am a musician, a father, a traveler and someone who enjoys speaking with people while helping them learn English. I am very comfortable working with people beginning to learn English as well as those more advanced who simply want to talk with and receive feedback from a native English speaker. I teach on Cambly for fun as it opens my eyes to people from around the world, allowing me to see how they live and they understanding more about how I live - making our world a little smaller as we talk in English - together.
After many years I am returning to Cambly to teach conversational Engish and learn from you about your country and your life. I live in a small town near Seattle in the US where I teach at a local university. For fun I play a very old instrument call the a 'hammered dulcimer'. It looks like the inside of a piano that I play by hitting the strings with little hammers/sticks. I am married and have a grown son who works for a multi-national company as a systems administrator. It is great to return to Cambly and see all the new changes that have taken place on the platform since 2017! I hope we have a chance to meet and talk. Cheers.
