Teaching Experience: I began my journey as an educator as a substitute teacher at a middle school in Washington, DC.
In June, I moved to Lima, Peru, where I am currently teaching English to adult students. Here, I provide lessons on English grammar and vocabulary, as well as reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. I also teach private conversation classes.
Interests: I am very interested in travel, food, and art. I currently practice yoga, and enjoy other forms of exercise. I also like watching movies and reading novels in my free time. I am from New York, and I love my home city.
Although these are my interests, I would love to talk to you about whatever interests you!
Education: I graduated from American University in December 2013 with a degree in International Relations, and minors in Spanish and Education. I studied abroad at UCA in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for 6 months. In February 2014, I earned my TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certification through Oxford Seminars.
Spoken Languages: English (Native), Spanish (Conversational)
