Teaching Experience: I am a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher. I have taught this subject for three years. I teach seventh grade through twelfth grade. Classes I have taught include Human Development, Life Skills, Design, Foreign Foods, Finance, and Nutrition. I coached volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and track. I have been the FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) adviser at my school for the past three years. I had the privilege of hosting a foreign exchange student from France in 2016.
Interests: Some of my interests include cooking, reading, sewing, fishing, archery, camping, and being outdoors. I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and running. I threw shot put, discus, and hammer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I live on a farm, and I love animals.
Education: I received my BS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and double majored in Elementary Education and Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Sciences. I received my MS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Child, Youth, and Family Studies with my teaching certificate in Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
