Teaching Experience: I have been teaching English in the Turkish capital Ankara since 2014 and before then I worked with primary school children in the UK since 2009. I have a 140 hour TEFL certificate and experience with TOFEL speaking preparation

I am a musician and I have also worked as a music teacher, teaching piano, guitar and music theory and practice to children, university students and adults. In 2012 I worked at a university teaching the music students how to prepare for life as a professional musician

Interests: My main interest is music. I have been performing in bands and with artists since I was in high school, and for the last few years I have been working with some big names here in Turkey. When I'm not on stage, I enjoy listening to music, writing and reviewing other peoples music.

I enjoy cooking, hiking and camping in the mountains around Turkey, watching TV series as well as film and video editing.

Education: I went to school in England and did three years of A Levels (usually we only do two years in the UK, but I couldn't decide what I wanted to study so I did an extra year to add extra subjects!)

Teaching Experience: I have 7 years' worth of experience teaching all levels. I've taught in 3 different countries (Turkey, Mexico, and El Salvador) to students of very different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I offer full courses for general English, TOEFL prep, and legal English. I can provide you with a coursebook and supplementary materials according to your level and needs that we can use together in our classes.

Interests: Language and culture, travel, art, politics, current affairs, stand-up comedy, memes, films, documentaries, and geography are some of my main interests. I'm happy discussing anything with my students, from simple topics like "how was your day?" to more complex issues. I like to learn whatever I can from other people!
