Teaching Experience: I have over 12 years of teaching experience. I have taught both in the classroom and one on one tutoring. Seeing a need in my community I created an "ESL Talk Time" at the East African Community Resource Center in Seattle WA. There I was able to teach exclusively in the classroom. Since having had my two boys in 2009 I now tutor one on one.

Interests: I love to blog, though I am not that great at keeping it up. Anything that gets me outside makes me happy I like to hike, ski, swim, garden, walk, play. Since then, I've taught students as young as 9, all the way up to retirees who wanted to learn marketing as part of their second career. I'm a Washington State Certified Teacher in social studies, and a part-time adjunct at Seattle Central College in their BITCA (Business, Information Technology, & Creative Arts) department.

Teaching Experience: When I studied abroad in Argentina in the fall last year (2013), I volunteered with a program called English Talk which held weekly meetings to aide and facilitate practicing conversations in English. I also was an English tutor at ACE Language Institute in Seattle for a group of Japanese students.

Interests: I love talking about music (I listen to everything and am always down to listen to more), sports (Go Seahawks!
