Teaching Experience: I have been an ESL English teacher for 17 years, Teaching all levels and ages from Beginner to Advanced, Kids to Adult. I spent two years working as an Examiner at an IELTS test centre in Perth, WA and for the last 8 years have been teaching IELTS and IBT TOEFL preparation at an accredited university in Indonesia. Interests: You could say I'm a book worm because I love reading, I'm never without my Kindle digital book reader but my main passion is travel, I don't like busy tourist areas but instead love to get off the beaten track and make friends with people from all over the world, I enjoy travelling because it has taught me precious lessons in life, one being that our differences are what makes us interesting and no matter our religion, nationality or colour we are all brothers and sisters and deserve respect.

Teaching Experience: I have worked in various elementary and high schools for over 7 years. For 2 years I was a guest professor, giving lectures in the field of Marxism and Psychoanalysis. Since 2013, I have taught as a certified instructor in various language schools, and even some online schools, preparing students to take their IELTS, CELTA, TOEIC and other exams. Proofreading documents is more a hobby than anything else, but it has enriched my vocabulary in ways I would never have imagined.

Interests: I love reading books which describe the behaviour of people, in which ways we are all different and how our experiences influence our futures. Traveling is, next to the English language, by biggest passion. I love to travel because it allows me to meet new people, explore new cultures and make friendships that can last a lifetime. Finishing my PhD is what I am currently working on and in the future I would like to establish my own company, but all in due time.

Amy Lupton

Teaching Experience: Most of my teaching experience has been overseas and online with Cambly. I lived in BEIJING, CHINA for 6 months (March 2017 - August 2017), where I taught English to kindergarten and elementary students. I also received a 2-week teaching training course in a small city in China called WUHU. On Cambly I have been teaching adults and children since August 2017.

Interests: I live in a beautiful, peaceful, sea-side town called Knysna in South Africa, so I have always loved going to the beach and walking my dogs. I also love learning about people and where they're from, their culture, the food they eat and their traditions. I enjoy learning about World History, wildlife, travelling, sports such as rugby, hockey, figure-skating and tennis, movies/series, music, reading, myths/legends, cooking/baking and photography.
