Profession: English Language Teacher (native speaker, CELTA qualified)
Teaching Experience: I've been teaching for ten years. Since my first job, as a volunteer in Tanzania in 2005, I have taught Primary education and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in the UK, Portugal, Kuwait, Brazil, The UAE, Russia and Spain, where I currently am.
Interests: Football is in my blood, a life-long obsession that I can't do without!
In fact, I love sport and art as I believe that in our natural state as human beings, we are all creators. My father and wife are painters, but my interests extend to literature, theatre, music, comedy and film.
In my free time (when I'm not playing football), I write children's stories and produce short EFL videos to help students familiarise themselves with idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs.
My final interest is in trading and economics. I follow stocks, indices and currency markets with the intention of identifying cycles to grow my very modest portfolio so that one day they may call me the new 'Warren Buffet'.
