Teaching Experience: Currently tutoring English to native speakers in Mexico. I'm a former court reporter and have been tutoring court reporters in English, grammar and punctuation for many years. I have also done a great deal of mentoring bright young people to help them become more successful in life. I'm a performance coach as well and love to coach performers (actors, public speakers, singers, etc.) on ways to improve their performance, including diction, stage presence, projection, etc.).
Interests: Travel, cooking, creative writing, singing, playing piano and ukulele, word games and much more!
Education: Bachelor of Arts degree from Dallas Baptist University in Texas. Graduate studies in technical writing from Texas Tech University. Associates degree in court reporting, including nine credit hours of English, grammar and punctuation. I have completed countless hours of personal development training, including related topics such as adult learning styles, creative training techniques, "conscious language," neurolinquistic programming, and public speaking, among many, many others.
